What is yoga for me?
Yoga entered my life when modeling had left me hollowed out. It was not a fitness choice, it was survival. The practice cracked me open in a way nothing else had and slowly gave me back a relationship with my own body that was kind rather than critical.
Over the years it became less about the postures and more about presence. Breath as anchor. Movement as inquiry. Stillness as a place I could actually reach. The physical practice is still there and still matters, but it is now the doorway into something deeper, a consistent and honest relationship with myself.
Teaching came naturally from that. I share what has genuinely changed my life, not as a method, but as an invitation. Every class I offer is an attempt to create the kind of space I once needed, where the body is welcome, the pace is human, and nothing needs to be performed.
Focus
My teaching focuses on functional training and peace of mind. Training where movement intersects with our lifestyles, minds full of thoughts and bodies with constrictions. Movement is where I work best, so in yin and calming classes I keep the mind engaged through the body: body scans, breath, and invitations to self-awareness.
My stronger vinyasa classes are a fusion of modalities working with mobility, core strength, breath and self-discovery through drills. The sequencing is built around revisiting postures and transitions repeatedly, growing awareness and control of both strength and flexibility as you go. The whole point is expanding range of mobility and feeling more resilient to the lifestyles we have.
I am particularly interested in yoga as a tool for people navigating a more full life, or simply tolerating more in a life that moves often too fast, often for too long. The practice meets people where they are. Modifications, adaptations, improvised sequencing when needed. Yoga for me is body and inner state awareness. It is better to adapt classes to the possibility of growing into a posture than to perform something out of reach at that particular time, reinforcing compensations.
